I love all kinds of buildings. There are some that are terrible architecture, but there’s something compelling and interesting about the way they look, or maybe it’s something about the way they sit in the landscape.
What someone else might think of as a distraction, I might say, “No, I want to incorporate that.” I want to see what this building looks like in relation to its neighbors.
